High School diploma or equivalent required.
One (1) year minimum experience or certification preferred.
Skills/Requirements:
One year of certified nursing experience is preferred.
Verbal and communication skills required.
CPR is required.
Duties Include:
Assist in the delivery of patient care under the supervision of an LPN or RN and receive written and/or oral assignments and direction, put charts together.
Provide appropriate personal hygiene to patients, deliver clean linen to patient rooms and assist with bed changes.
Measure and accurately report vital signs.
Assist with discharges, admissions, post op care, transfer and transporting of patients.
Assist patients in and out of bed and to and from wheelchairs and stretchers.
Assist with snacks for surgery patients.
Utilize infection control and safety policies and procedures.
You must work well with others in a spirit of teamwork and cooperation.
Support hospital mission, vision and values, as well as all policies and procedures.
Other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
